Paintings by Erin Chance Fenstermaker at City Club

Like Erin herself (see above photo), the paintings by Erin Chance Fenstermaker are inviting, fresh, cool, calm...oh, I could go on and on, but you should check out her work for yourself. Currently, there are eight paintings by Erin at the new "Gallery at City Club Fitness Center". In the past, Erin has shown at Darnall, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick, The Big Easel, and Tsunami. Constantly painting, Erin finds inspiration in the work of contemporary British painter Cecily Brown and the English master, J.M.W. Turner, who was known as "the painter of light", a quality which Chance-Fenstermaker's paintings at City Club certainly possess.
As per Erin's bio:
"Erin Chance Fenstermaker was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. Growing up in such a strong cultural environment, Erin learned to appreciate the arts at an early age. She received her BFA in Painting from Louisiana State University in 2007. Erin is currently working on an abstract-landscape series as well as commissioned work. In addition to studio art, Erin's interests also include decorative arts and the art market. She is currently Marketing Director at Evangeline Galleries in Lafayette."
After living in Houston where she was a Gallery Associate at McClain Gallery, Erin recently returned to Lafayette and we are very glad to have her art on the walls of City Club! Here are my three favorites from the current show at the "Gallery at City Club Fitness Center". For more information on these pieces, please contact me at jefferymccullough@hotmail.com.
